Waqaf

A waqf (also spelled wakaf) is an Islamic philanthropic institution involving the permanent dedication of one's assets such as property or cash, for religious, educational, or charitable purposes recognized by Islamic law.

Waqaf

We offer assistance in distributing your waqf at Masjid al-Haram (the Grand Mosque in Mecca) and/or Al-Masjid an-Nabawi (the Prophet's Mosque in Medina). You are welcome to specify your preferred location for the waqaf.

The concept of waqaf is deeply rooted in Islamic tradition and is considered a form of sadaqah jariyah, or ongoing charity. This means that the benefits of the waqaf continue to accrue to the donor even after their death, as long as the endowed assets provide value to the community.

Engaging in waqaf allows individuals to contribute to the welfare of society while securing perpetual spiritual rewards, as the endowed assets continue to benefit others indefinitely.

Type of Waqaf:

1. Mushaf / al Qur'an - $35 per piece

2. Chairs - $25 per piece

3. Wheelchairs - $250 per piece
